Detection of Manufacturing Errors
in the Paper Production
As part of the production process, the paper web is monitored in terms of manufacturing errors (e.g. splashes, holes or wrinkles).
Despite the high conveying velocity and the very huge data rates that need to be processed, the software detects reliably very small manufacturing errors as well as errors which extend over many meters.
Artificial intelligence ensures the pixel accurate and stable detection of very similar looking errors.
